Terms of Service (ToS)

Fundamental Legal & Architectural Notice:Any natural or legal entity accessing, indexing, creating an account on, submitting APIs to, or utilizing paid/enterprise services from FreeAPI explicitly agrees to be bound by all terms set forth in this Agreement.

1Nature and Scope of the Service

FreeAPI (findfreeapi.com) is an independent developer platform providing curated discovery of open, free, and enterprise API endpoints, architectural stack orchestrations, integration tooling, and live code generator endpoints.

FreeAPI operates as an architectural hub and directory; underlying servers and databases of indexed third-party services are maintained by their respective external providers.

2Intellectual Property, Licensing & Anti-Reverse Engineering

All platform source code, database schemas, proprietary algorithms, interface designs, and curated index structures remain the exclusive intellectual property of FreeAPI and its creator.

  • Users may not decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the platform, its backend orchestration, or its directory databases.
  • Third-party trademarks, API designations, and logos are displayed strictly for educational reference and developer navigation under nominative fair-use principles.

3Acceptable Use & Anti-Scraping Rules

By accessing or interacting with FreeAPI, you unconditionally agree to:

  • Comply with rate limits, auth quotas, and licensing guidelines enforced by upstream API providers,
  • Refrain from automated mass scraping, data hoarding, or unauthorized redistribution of our curated dataset dumps,
  • Respect security filters, honeypot traps, and web application firewall (WAF) rate controls.

4Data Ownership, Telemetry & Anonymized AI / Analytics Usage

Regarding user-contributed content (API submissions, documentation notes, custom stack exports) and interaction telemetry (query metrics, performance logs, error telemetry):

  • Users grant FreeAPI a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and sublicensable license to host, display, and publish public submissions across the platform.
  • FreeAPI retains the right to process aggregated, fully anonymized telemetry data for machine learning model training, AI prompt optimization, market benchmarking reports, and platform reliability engineering.

5Paid Services, Subscriptions & Price Escalation Provisions

For premium tiers, enterprise proxy access, developer tool APIs, or sponsored placements:

  • Right to Adjust Pricing: FreeAPI reserves the right to modify subscription fees, API seat pricing, and tier quotas, effective upon the subsequent renewal billing cycle.
  • Advance Notice: Any pricing updates will be communicated at least 30 (thirty) calendar days in advance via email or in-app dashboard notification.
  • Cancellation: If you disagree with a price adjustment, you may cancel your subscription without penalty before the effective date. Continued usage past the renewal date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

6Enterprise Terms (B2B), SLA & Limitation of Liability Cap

For commercial and enterprise engagements:

  • Liability Cap: In no event shall FreeAPI's aggregate liability arising out of or related to this Agreement (whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) exceed the total amount actually paid by the user to FreeAPI in the 3 (three) months preceding the incident giving rise to liability (for free tier usage, the liability cap is exactly $0 USD).
  • Consequential Damages: FreeAPI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, loss of profits, lost data, or business interruption damages.
  • SLA: Unless governed by a separate signed Enterprise SLA, all services are delivered strictly "As-Is" and "As-Available".

7Disclaimer of Warranties

FreeAPI provides its directory, sandbox proxies, and developer tools without warranty of any kind. We make no representations regarding third-party API availability, schema changes, uptime, or data accuracy.

8Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and execution offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising hereunder.

9Takedown Requests & Contact
